We are very happy to invite you in our community-school, in the middle of the jungle, to our 21 days Kambo training with Maestro Cesar from the Matses Tribe

🌄 DURING THIS COURSE

🔹 You Will have the great oportunity to receive kambo directly from Maestro Cesar, one of the Last 5 máster healer of the Matses
🔸 You will learn about the origins of its medicine and the Matses story about the Kambo frog
🔹 You will meet in person the Kambo frogs and learn how to find the frogs and how to extract its precious secretion in the Matses way, with Maestro Cesar
🔸 You will experience the power of its sacred fresh medicine
🔹 You will connect and bound with the Spirit of the frog through the isolation process of the dieta
🔸 You will learn how to apply safely Kambo to yourself and to others
🔹 You will have the oportunity to serve Kambo to different kind of people (locals and foreigners) under our supervsion
🔸 You will learn different self development and self healing techniques
🔸 You will learn about indigenous culture, ancestral knowlwdge, medicine, and tradition

🔴 The intention of this training is to give you all the basics needs, all the technical and theoretical information, as well as the experience and the practice needed to be able to use safely and consciously this medicine, for yourself, and for others.
🟢 The teachings that we share come directly form the indigenous tradition (Matses, Noke. Koi) and also are adapted to modern occidental society in a way that you will be able to apply what you have learned in your ptactice back home.
🟡 This training is a result of many years of experience walking with the ancestral medicines of the Amazon, sitting and learning with indigenous elders from different traditions, and from the experience of sharing those medicines around the Globe since 2004.
🔴 This unique and complete program that we offer you is also the result of many Kambo trainings in our community-school since 2016.

 

PROGRAM

DAY 1
🔹 We will leave Iquitos at midday by taxi, till the km 50 on the Iquitos-Nauta Road, and from there we will hike around 40 min before we will reach our destination, the Aro Iris community, our new home for the next 21 days.
🔸 Our luggage will be carried to the community if needed.
🔹 Once on site, we will refresh in the river before to continue to accommodate you in your private Hut, and to receive our Welcome Lunch.
🔸 After lunch we'll gather in the maloca (ceremonial round house) around the sacred fire for our first sharing circle.
🔹 We will present to you Maestro Cesar, our Matses Elder, the facilitadores, the community staff and the program for the training
🔸 We will introduce ourselves and share our intentions for the training and we will have the oportunity to receive Nu-nu from Maestro Cesar.

DAY 2
🔹 We will start with the 1st Kambo session, guided by our facilitators.
Half of the group will receive Kambo, while the other half will be observing and taking notes.
🔸 During those sessions, we will start to give basic Information on practical issues and we will explain the all process step by step.
🔹 After the session and the bath in the river, we will have brunch and will continue with the integration circle where you will share your experiences and where we will answer your questions.
🔸 During those integration circles, a lot of very valuable information will be shared depending on the topics popping up.

DAY 3
🔹 Same program as day 2, but this time we will start with the 1st Kambo ceremony for the 2nd half of the group, while the other half is observing.

DAY 4
🔸 Same program as Day 2.

DAY 5
🔹 Same program as Day 3.
2nd Kambo session for the 2nd half of the group.
🔸 During those 4 days of applications and integration sharing, observations, feedback, questions and answers, we will also give you a lot of basic and theoretic instructions about Kambo and its safe use.

DAY 6-7
🔹 In the morning, we will have open Kambo sessions for people visiting the community, so you will have the opportunity to observe more new cases and start to assist in the process.
🔸 In the afternoon, we will have integration circle with the people who received the medicine to hear their experience and to discuss about it..
🔹 During this first week, we will discuss and share about those different topics:

▫️What is Kambo?
▫️Origin of the medicine
▫️Stories of origin of Kambo from different tribes
▫️Traditional use of Kambo among the Matses
▫️Safe use of Kambo
▫️Application techniques
▫️How to support patients during the process
▫️What to do in case of over reaction
▫️How to use this medicine in our modern society
▫️How to create a ceremonial space
▫️How to hold space
▫️How does Kambo works on the holistic level? (body, soul & mind) And how to work with it.

🔸 Introduction about which medicines can be used in combination with Kambo, and how to work with those different medicines: Rapé, Tobacco, Sananga, Agua Florida
🔹 You will also learn to make your own Chacapa (jungle rattle made out of leaves) and learn how to use it.
🔸 We will also practice Kambo and medicine songs during those days.

DAY 8
🔹 In the morning we will give you all the needed information about the dieta process.
🔸 In the afternoon, we will dit with our Matses elder Maestro Cesar and we will have the opportunity to listen to some of the Matses stories and you will have the opportunity to ask questions about him, his tribe and their use of the Kambo medecine.
🔹 At night, we will make 2 groups to go and look for the Kambo frogs with Cesar.

DAY 9
🔸 We will mee in the early morning to milk the frogs and extract its precious medicine.
🔹 At the end of the extraction process, everybody will receive from maestro Cesar their 3rd Kambo session, with the fresh medicine, directly from the frogs.
🔸 After everybody finishes his session and had a bath in the river, we will have brunch and will continue with the integration circle where you will share your experience with the fresh medicine and where we will answer your questions.
🔹 Before sunset, you will receive a flower bath to clear and clean your physical and energetical body in order to enter the dieta.

DAY 10-17, DIETA
🔸 Throughout the dieta you will apply the medicine to yourself every second day, but we also give the opportunity to have up to 3 more extra Kambo sessions during the dieta if anyone feels it so.
We will again make 2 groups.
🔹 The first group will have their sessions on the 1st, 3rd, 5th and 7th day, and the second group on the 2nd, 4th, 6th and 8th day of dieta.
🔸 We will meet in the maloca in the morning, and one by one, each dietero will give Kambo to themselves, with our guidance.
🔹 The sessions during dieta will be performed in your hut, with our guidance.
During dieta, the dieteros will remain in their huts. 🔸 The food will be brought to everyone at their huts and there will be a visit from the teachers where the dieteros can express their process if needed. Otherwise the dieteros will remain in silence.
🔹This process is a great opportunity to connect deeper with the frog spirit, with Nature and with your own Spirit.
🔸 We'll open the dieta with the fresh Kambo ceremony and a flower bath and we'll close it with an Ayahuasca ceremony on day 17 and another flower bath.

DAY 18
🔹 Closing of the dieta after the Ayahuasca ceremony.
First post dieta breakfast.
🔸 The rest of the day will be free for you to rest and to integrate the experience of dieta and the Ayahuasca ceremony.
🔹 In the evening, we will have the integration circle where each participant will share their experiences, dreams, and the dieta teachings.

DAY 18-19-20
🔸 During those 2 days, there will be a Kambo ceremony in which you are going to give Kambo to other person under our guidance, in order to make the last adjustments.
🔹 We will split into 2 groups: one will apply the medicine and the other one Will observe.
We will switch the day after.
🔸 In the afternoon we will discuss the morning treatments and we will give our advice and feedback for the last fine tuning for future treatments.
🔹 Last Q&A around.
In the evening, closing celebration around the fire in the maloca.

DAY 21
🔸 We'll leave the community back to Iquitos around midday.
🔹 During the all training, we will have the opportunity to receive people that will come for the Kambo treatments that we offer in the community.
🔸 This will be a great opportunity for you to assist us in our work and deepen your knowledge in this way too, and you will also have the possibility to apply Kambo to those real cases

 

🐺 THE TRAINING WILL BE FACILITATED BY:

Maestro Cesar
▫️CESAR is from the Matses tribe (the only tribe in Peru that still uses Kambo).
▫️He learned about this medicine from his father who is from a long lineage of medicine men.
▫️He will be our guide during the frog scouting, the extraction of the medicine and he will apply to you the fresh medicine.
▫️He will also tell us about the traditional usage of Kambo, Nu-Nu ( tobacco snuff), other natural medicines, their tribe and culture.

Arnaud/Árbol
▫️He came to the Peruvian jungle in 2001 due to a health condition he could only heal trough shamanic medicine.
▫️Inspired by this experience he studied the shamanic amazonian medicine of Ayahuasca with several maestros and maestras from different tribes, performing a long period of dietas, before to receive the blessings from his teachers to serve the sacred brew Ayahuasca.
▫️In 2009 he co-founded the Aro Iris community and opened the space to people from all over to experience and learn about the community life in the jungle and to reconnect with Mother Nature using permaculture, ancestral wisdom from native tribes and their medicines, and master plants dietas.
▫️He is applying Kambo since 2013 and guiding Kambo training in the community since 2016.
▫️He is also co-founder of the Spiral School with Jate Kulchavita, wisdom keeper from the Mhuysca nation, and co-founder of the Ecomunidad Tierra de Agua, main base of the Spiral school in Colombia.
▫️Arnaud has also been organizing and supporting many dietas, ceremonies, and retreats, sharing the medicine in his communities and in his journeys around the planet since 2004.

🧿 TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
▫️Older then 18 years
▫️Health check by a doctor
▫️Personal interview
▫️Participation in at least 3 Kambo sessions before the training

📯 RECOMMENDATIONS
🔹 We are highly recommending that you arrive to Iquitos few days prior to the dates of the retreat in order to get fully ready for this adventure, and get some rest after the long travel.
🔸 It is also possible to arrive some days before in the community, and also to stay longer after the training, in order to have some more days to prepare before the training and some more days after to integrate the experience and to have the opportunity to practice more what you have learned.
🔹 As in our community a lot of people come to visit and to receive Kambo all year long, by staying longer you’ll have the opportunity to continue to be assisted by us in real cases sessions and keep on learning and getting more experience about this wonderful medicine.
